Lowland gorilla trekking can take anywhere between 30 minutes to 5 hours, and once you find gorillas, you’ll spend an hour with them watching them go about their everyday lives and taking pictures. After spending an hour with these eastern lowland gorillas, return to the park’s main office. Your tour driver will pick you up and then take a relaxing drive back to your hotel for the evening.

The hike could take you anywhere from 2 to 5 hours, or even longer depending on where the mountain gorillas are because they prefer high-altitude habitats.
